I’ve devised and managed websites including Port Sunlight Village Trust, ReBUILD for Resilience, PERFORM2Scale and Museums of Cheshire. I was also Web Content Manager at National Museums Liverpool.
Each site is carefully devised for the needs and experience of end users, and supported by social media (see ReBUILD’s twitter account), blog posts, enewsletters and print material. I can also track your site’s performance using Google Analytics.
Animation scripts
The Tropical Medicine Time Machine is a series of boxed animations for children featuring a character based on a famous scientist from Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. I wrote the scripts to accompany her musings on a range of LSTM-related topics – from the school’s founding through to antimicrobial resistance. The brief was to give her personality and humour while conveying some complex and serious topics.
Audio visuals
If you need infographics, Powerpoint presentations or short videos showcasing your work I can produce something appropriate. I can edit and subtitle webinars, conference recordings etc. I’ve also experience devising animations and working with animators to create pieces – check out this piece for ReBUILD for Resilience.
Online learning
Twelve online learning units were researched, devised and written for National Museums Liverpool. Each was based on its diverse collections, and appealled to website visitors of all ages. Readability, accessibility and engagement were vital.
The modules generated a marked increase in website traffic, and some – like The Nile File and Enslaved Africans: Our Truth – and were reworked and remain popular.
